Manuel Arroyo's practice focuses on international commercial arbitration and litigation, in which areas he publishes extensively. His preferred fields further include contract, tort and private international law.
A law clerk with the Swiss Federal Supreme Court from 2004 to 2007, Manuel Arroyo was involved in 126 Supreme Court decisions, mainly concerning commercial contract disputes and challenges of arbitral awards rendered in international arbitrations. From 2002 to 2004, he was an attorney-at-law with the litigation/arbitration team of a large Geneva law firm. Between 1998 and 2002, he was a lawyer in the litigation team of a Basel law firm, a clerk at the Basel Department of Justice, and a research and teaching assistant at the Basel University Faculty of Law.
