The members of our arbitration team are regularly rated among the best in Europe and globally. We represent clients in a broad range of commercial arbitrations and related court and enforcement proceedings.

Members of our arbitration team also regularly serve as arbitrators and mediators. We act in both ad hoc and institutional arbitrations, governed by Swiss or foreign law. They have served in proceedings administered by the major arbitral institutions, including the ICC, the Swiss Chambers of Commerce, WIPO, LCIA, the Vienna Center, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, AAA/IDCR and CAS.

The quality, size, and experience of our international arbitration team allows us to staff large and complex cases.

We regularly handle large and complex cases and we regularly act in cases involving international commercial transactions such as acquisitions, joint ventures, privatization, R&D, technology transfer (licenses and patents), financing, sale of goods, commodity trading, sports arbitration, oil and gas concessions or access to networks.

Recently, we assisted MasterCard in prevailing in its dispute with FIFA concerning sponsorship rights for the period leading up to the World Cups 2010 and 2014. In another case, we successfully recovered damages for a client following a dispute over an important licensing agreement in the pharmaceutical industry.
